Every time I read a book that Barbara Reid is involved in, I am amazed at her artistic skill. It is not surprising she has won almost every award for illustrators of Children’s books. This is the story of Effie, a small ant with a very large VOICE. She scares all the other bugs she tries to befriend. Then one day she saves the other bugs and the rest of the ants from her colony. It is another great story for children of all ages.
: When Effie the ant’s loud voice saves the day, the other insects learn to appreciate her unique gift.
